# Add an image, video or document

> Put a picture, video or PDF at the top of a template, like a sale banner or an invoice.

The file you add here is a sample for Meta to review. You choose the real file
each time you send the template, so one template can carry a different banner
or invoice every time.

## Add the header

1. Open the template, or [create one](https://docs.soosh.io/guides/templates/create-a-template/).
You can't change a template while Meta is reviewing it.
2. Under **Header**, choose **Image**, **Video** or **Document**.
3. Click **Choose** and pick a sample file:
   - **Image**: JPEG or PNG, up to 5 MB.
   - **Video**: MP4, up to 16 MB.
   - **Document**: PDF, up to 100 MB.
4. Click **Upload**. It says **Uploaded** when it's done.
5. Click **Create**, or **Save**.

*Picture: The template's Header set to Image, with the sample diwali-banner.jpg chosen and the Upload button next to it*

## Result

The **Live preview** shows the header above the message. Meta needs the
sample: without one, Soosh won't save the template.

When you send the template in a campaign, the campaign asks for the
**Header file** to send.
