# Hide customers' phone numbers

> Show only the last 4 digits of customers' numbers to everyone in your workspace.

## Before you start

- Owner or admin role in Soosh

## Turn it on

1. Go to [**Settings > General**](https://app.soosh.io/settings).
2. Under **Privacy**, turn on **Mask phone numbers**.
3. Click **Save** in the bar at the bottom.

## Result

Customers' numbers show as stars with only the last 4 digits, like
`********3210`, for everyone in the workspace, admins included. That covers
chats, contacts, the queue, calls, campaign recipients and contact exports,
and the API.

Your team can still reply and call as usual.

> **Note:** With numbers hidden, you can't search campaign recipients by number.
