Build a call menu

Greet callers and let them press a key to reach the right team, like "press 1 for orders".

  1. Go to Automation > Call menus (IVR) and click Create call menu.

  2. Enter a Name, choose the Account (the number it answers), and click Create.

  1. Add a Greeting step: under Audio, upload a recording, or choose TTS and type what callers hear, like Thanks for calling Blue Lotus Fashion.
  2. Add a Menu step with its message, like Press 1 for orders, press 2 for wholesale. Under Menu options, click Add for each key.
  3. Add a Transfer step for each key, and choose its Team.
  4. Join the steps: from each numbered dot under a step to the step that follows. A Menu has one dot per key, and one each for no answer and too many wrong keys.
  5. Optional: add a Timing step first, to play a different message outside opening hours, and a Hangup step to end the call.
  6. Turn on Active and Incoming call start, and click Save.

Callers to that number hear the greeting and choose a key. Their call rings for the team they chose. The Call menus (IVR) list shows the menu Enabled and Call start.
