Create a WhatsApp form

Make a form customers fill in without leaving WhatsApp, like a booking or a feedback form.

Meta calls these WhatsApp Flows. A form has one or more screens of questions, and opens over the chat on the customer’s phone.

  1. Go to Automation > WhatsApp forms and click Create form.

  2. Choose Blank form, or an example to start from, like Book an appointment.

  3. Enter a Form name, choose a Category and, with several numbers, the Account.

  4. Click a screen under Screens, then click anything on the phone to change it. Click Add a question or text to add a question: a short answer, email, phone number, choice, date and more.

  5. For each screen, set the Button text and what happens When tapped: Go to another screen, or Submit the form on the last one.

  6. Fix anything listed under To fix before sending.

  7. Click Create form.

  1. Click Send to WhatsApp. Meta checks the form and, if it finds problems, lists them under WhatsApp found problems in the form.
  2. Click Open preview and try the form on your phone.
  3. Click Publish, then confirm.

The form shows Published in the list, ready to send.
